Pictures from Greenville

"The DRIVE" is the Single A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. For those that were unaware, Fluor seems to own Greenville, including the baseball field.

The green monster in all its glory!!!!

Our apartment complex!!!

Downtown closed off for the farmers market.

Erica in front of the Greenville sign downtown.

Not quite the Houston Chronicle but it's what we got.

This is in the middle of downtown which makes for a very fun and scenic atmosphere.

Kevin and Erica move to Greenville

We have finally gotten all settled in to Greenville, SC.  Things have gone very well so far the past few weeks, but there are so many things that have taken us some getting used to.  The time change is a bigger change than we thought.  It is odd that prime time television doesn't start till 8 PM.  The weather has definitely been a nice treat as it is much cooler and less humid than Houston.  Everything seems to be cheaper in South Carolina except for groceries which seem to be quite a bit more expensive.  Greenville is a nice place and kinda reminds us of a smaller Austin.  It is a very laid back place and everyone is very nice.  The downtown area is being completely redone (and is actually mirrored after Austin) and has a lot of fun things to do and see.  The odd thing about Greenville is there is no grid system for the roads.  One road turns into about 3 different roads in a one mile span and it definitely doesn't go in a street line.  Erica has started working and is waiting to be put on a project.  Hopefully she will get on a project soon so she won't be so bored at work.   Kevin is still interviewing and looking for the right job.  We have been to 3 different churches and are still looking for the perfect fit.  We liked one of them but have a few other churches to visit before we settle in for good.  Look for pictures very soon of places around Greenville.
